Gaya

A. Pengertian Gaya

1. Gaya adalah Suatu tarikan atau dorongan. Satuan untuk Gaya adalah Newton.

2. Ada 2 Jenis gaya yaitu :

• Gaya Sentuh
  Misalnya : Kamu mendorong meja. Agar meja tersebut bergerak, kamu
  harus menyentuh meja tersebut dan memberikan gaya dorong.
  Itu dinamakan Gaya Sentuh.

   

• Gaya Tak Sentuh
  Apabila sebatang magnet didekatkan pada sekumpulan paku, maka
  paku akan tertarik magnet. Gaya yang timbul berupa gaya tarik itu
  disebut Gaya Tak Sentuh.

3. Apabila Sebuah benda diberi gaya maka akan terjadi perubahan - perubahan

    Sebagai berikut :

• Benda diam menjadi bergerak
  Contohnya : Agar bola dapat bergerak sampai ke tujuannya
  harus diberi gaya berupa tendangan. Jadi, Sebuah benda
  akan bergerak apabila diberi gaya.
• Benda bergerak menjadi diam
  Contohnya : Sebuah sepeda sedang meluncur, tiba - tiba ada
  seseorang yang menyeberang sehingga sepeda direm ( diberi
  gaya gesek pada rodanya ) akibatnya sepeda berhenti.
  Ini berarti bahwa benda yang bergerak apabila diberi
  gaya akan berhenti.
• Benda berubah bentuknya
  Contohnya : Sebuah balon ditiup kemudian kamu pencet, maka
  bentuknya akan berubah. Berarti gaya yang diberikan pada
  sebuah benda dapat mengakibatkan perubahan bentuk.
• Benda berubah arah geraknya
  Contohnya : Ketika kamu bermain kasti, bola dilempar ke
  arahmu kemudian kamu pukul. Ternyata bola akan bergerak
  dengan arah yang berbeda.

4. Macam - Macam Gaya

• Gaya Otot
  adalah Gaya yang diakibatkan oleh gerakan otot,misalnya
  mengangkat, menendang, melompat dan berjalan.
• Gaya Magnet
  adalah Gaya yang diakibatkan oleh magnet, misalnya magnet
  didekatkan pada benda yang mengandung unsur besi. Benda
  tersebut akan bergerak menuju magnet kemudian menempel
  pada magnet.
• Gaya Gravitasi Bumi
  adalah Gaya yang diakibatkan oleh gaya tarik bumi terhadap
  segala benda yang ada di permukaannya. Gaya ini menyebabkan
  kita dapat berdiri diatas bumi dan tidak melayang - layang di udara.
• Gaya Gesekan
  adalah Gaya yang timbul akibat adanya dua permukaan benda yang
  bersentuhan. Gaya gesekan ada 2 macam yaitu :
• Gaya gesekan statik
  adalah Gaya gesekan pada benda yang diam
• Gaya gesekan Kinetik
  adalah Gaya gesekan pada benda yang bergerak.

5. Gaya adalah sebuah kekuatan sehingga dapat diukur besarnya,
    adapun cara mengukur sebuah gaya adalah dengan menggunakan
    neraca pegas yang dilengkapi skala. ( Satuannya Newton )
